...and baby makes 4!

The test results are in and we are set to add to our little family this summer.

Even though its still pretty new we are very excited.  We have told Zachary about the baby, when asked where the baby is he will either lift up his shirt and point to his belly or point to mine, its a toss up. More recently when we talk about the baby he asks to see it, and when I point to my belly and explain that it is still inside my body he asks to kiss it.  It melts my heart.

So over the next few months we are focusing on reorganizing and making room for baby, changing our current office into a nursery and moving Zachary into a big boy bed.  I am already starting to get anxious about finishing up some projects around the house that have been pushed aside.

We have lots to look forward to in 2010.

Happy Wednesday!

the holiday season has come and gone...

I think this picture pretty much sums it up.

What a wonderful holiday season it was.  We celebrated a little early with my family by having dinner here on the 20th and the rest of the holidays we mostly spent camped out at Murray's parent's house visiting his family.  Murray's Mom and Dad were wonderful hosts making sure we were well taken care of, so it was a very relaxing break.  We finally got to meet our niece Aisling who is now 4 months old.  What a beautiful baby!  Zachary was slow to warm up to her but by the end of the visit he was constantly asking if he could 'hold it'.

Zachary on Christmas morning. Even though he was super excited by all the presents, we were so impressed by the fact that he took his time to enjoy every one.  We felt a little guilty when we had to hurry him up and convince him to open the next one. But the lucky little boy had so many!

Papa Terry took us out for many wonderful sleigh rides which was a highlight.

Christmas day we headed out to Murray's Aunt and Uncle's to visit with the extended family and Zachary had his first taste of skating on a rink in their backyard.  He was very happy to be playing hockey with the big boys.  He now has he's own pair of bob skates and a helmet so we will be doing lots of skating the rest of the winter.

We are so thankful to have such good family and friends to share the holiday season with and now tomorrow Murray is back to work, I am back to school and we will be back into our regular routine.
