One Leaving and One Coming Home

Today is a little bittersweet.

I get to pick up my husband at the airport after he has been away for 2 weeks but the joy of the day is clouded a little by the fact that I have to drop my brother off at the bus depot.

Mitchell is traveling out to Vancouver to go and live with his Dad and to find himself.  As much as I know that he is a big boy and he needs to spread his wings, its hard to watch him go.  I worry about him.  I just have to pray and have faith he will find the path God intends for him.

Heard this song by Taylor Swift on the radio and it made he think of Mitchell.

Jackpot!

All summer I have had this feeling like I was missing clothes but I couldn't put my finger on it exactly.

I would think to myself 'I thought I had...' or 'where is my...'  but I searched and never found anything so I thought I had donated them all or something.

Then tonight I was looking for the pump to my exercise ball and under the spare bed...yes you guessed it

A WHOLE BIN OF SUMMER CLOTHES!!! 
All the stuff I was missing.

golf shorts and shirts...

jean shorts and capris...

It was all there.

You want to know the very best part...IT ALL FITS ME!!!!

This is like Christmas in July!  I am shaking I am so excited!

4 months and 4 years...

Have gone by way too fast.

Thursday Murray and I celebrated 4 years married and on Friday Zachary turned 4 months.

Zachary is growing so fast.  He weighs 14lbs 9oz. He can hold his head very steady now.  He can roll from front to back.  He is also very close to rolling from back to front.  He found his voice in the last week or so and loves to squeak, squeal, and coo.

He is still very easy going and I have nicknamed him Mellow Murr (since he most definately gets his temperment from his Dad)

Surprize!

Thursday was mine and Murray's 4th anniversary and he is still away so I was a little down.

Then this happened...

My husband is getting better at this surprize thing each and every year.

Passing the Time...

Murray left for work down in the states for the next two weeks.  Zach and I are missing him like crazy but we are staying busy to help pass the time.

This weekend we were lucky enough to be able to head out to the lake with my friends Kelly and Rene.  Saturday was rainy but Sunday was beautiful.  We went tubing and wake boarding and Zach went on his first boat ride.  It was a great weekend.  Thanks Kelly and Rene.
