Elliott @ 8 Months

What a guy!  At 8 months Elliott is not gaining weight as fast as he once was.  He is stretching out more than he is gaining weight but that is probably due to the fact that he is moving a lot more as well.

Elliott's new favourite toy is the tupperware cupboard.  And yes, I have more tupperware than the average person.  I have given up trying to keep the cupboard tidy I just through it all back in for next time.

This reminds me of when Zachary used to play in the cupboard.

Spring Has Sprung!

Have Dinosaurs... Will Travel.

Since Zachary's birthday he has been dinosaur CRAZY!  During the day he plays with his dinosaurs, then wants to play Digging for Dinos on the Sesame Street website, and at night only wants us to read him the Children's Dinosaur Encyclopedia we gave him for his birthday (to his credit he sits and listens the entire half hour Murray or I read to him).  Its great, our whole family is learning a lot about dinosaurs, however, I can't even tell you how many times in a day I hear "Will you play Dinosaurs with me Mom?"  And I do sometimes but not often enough to satisfy Zachary.  Over the break most of Zachary's neighbour friends were home from school so I set up a few morning playdates for Zachary to go over to their houses to play dinosaurs.  He was so cute carefully selecting which dinosaurs to bring over and packing them up into his backpack.  Elliott and I would walk him and his backpack loaded with dinosaurs over to the neighbours to play.

Crawling

It happens so fast.  Last Saturday Elliott started to pull himself along the floor inching himself forward for things like the remote or the phone (the things he shouldn't have).  Then by Wednesday he was proficient enough to chase Zach and I down the hallway.

 Elliott was in our ensuite playing with toys happily then Zachary called me to the other bathroom down the hall.  I left Elliott to help Zachary only to find this a few moments later.

Pirates and Dinosaurs

Zachary's 3rd birthday will be remembered as the birthday he was crazy for pirates and dinosaurs.

What a weekend!  Friday we had cake with Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts and Uncles and then Saturday we had a party with all Zachary's friends.  It was a busy weekend but a lot of fun.

Elliott @ 7 Months

I am a little late on this one but I know you will forgive me.

Last week Elliott turned 7 months.  Here are a few pictures.

He is somewhere between 21 and 22 lbs (haven't been to the hospital to weigh him yet this month) and about 30 inches long.  He has 6 big teeth!

This month he has really developed his own little personality and has learned a lot of fun tricks.
