The last two weeks since Zachary has been born have honestly gone by in a blur. We have spent hours learning how nurse, sleeping, visiting, and just getting to know our son. I can't even count how many hours we both have spent just staring at him. Every time he does something new one of us will call the other from one side of the house to come and see. We are truly mesmerized and blessed.
Its been so amazing to have Murray home these last two weeks, the real test will be Monday when he goes back to work...YIKES!

So very sweet! I love his expression in the first picture...it really reminds me of an expression Taylor used to make when he was a baby...gosh that seems so long ago!! Glad you guys are doing well...can't wait to make it over to see you, Murray and your little one!

ReplyDeleteYou guys will call each other every time he does something for many years to come- not a day goes by that I don't call Brett at work to let him know something new Danika has done. Just this past week she learned how to clap, says "Hi", started liking meat... the list goes on- it is amazing what they learn to do in their first year!
Enjoy the staring moments- there are too many to count- but you will remember each one!
Our Zachary is so sweet yet so masculine. Look at those muscles! Maybe he will be a whistler like his Daddy and great Grandpa Mike. Love you.
