Taking full advantage of my maternity leave, we were able to visit Montana this past week while Murray was down there for work. Had the weather been nicer (the wind was 50 mph) the trip would have been much better. Trees that had beautiful fall leaves when we arrived were bare the day we left. We did, however, get to spend one day in Glacier National Park, which was very beautiful. There is something so majestic about the mountains, they always make me feel so very small and insignificant (in a good way).
There was not too much to do, but it was nice to have a few days to relax. I did not think about laundry, dishes and all those other chores that plague me daily.

Montana, a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there!
Happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the town life. Love you.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to have a leave that allows you to be a family - no matter where you may have to go! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you should say that about Montana. It reminds me of Dawson Creek a little bit. The city has now become a "great place to visit, but not sure if I want to live there" for me now."
ReplyDeleteGood pictures.
