I think this picture pretty much sums it up.
Zachary smashing our gingerbread house.
What a wonderful holiday season it was. We celebrated a little early with my family by having dinner here on the 20th and the rest of the holidays we mostly spent camped out at Murray's parent's house visiting his family. Murray's Mom and Dad were wonderful hosts making sure we were well taken care of, so it was a very relaxing break. We finally got to meet our niece Aisling who is now 4 months old. What a beautiful baby! Zachary was slow to warm up to her but by the end of the visit he was constantly asking if he could 'hold it'.
Zachary on Christmas morning. Even though he was super excited by all the presents, we were so impressed by the fact that he took his time to enjoy every one. We felt a little guilty when we had to hurry him up and convince him to open the next one. But the lucky little boy had so many!
Papa Terry took us out for many wonderful sleigh rides which was a highlight.
Zachary suited up and ready for the sleigh ride.
Christmas day we headed out to Murray's Aunt and Uncle's to visit with the extended family and Zachary had his first taste of skating on a rink in their backyard. He was very happy to be playing hockey with the big boys. He now has he's own pair of bob skates and a helmet so we will be doing lots of skating the rest of the winter.

We are so thankful to have such good family and friends to share the holiday season with and now tomorrow Murray is back to work, I am back to school and we will be back into our regular routine.
Hope everyone had safe and happy holiday season.
Happy Sunday!
