Just a regular Saturday morning...

Candy Sale

This past Sunday we spent the day working around the yard and in the garage.  At some point during the morning Zachary asked if we could have a garage sale.  Murray explained that we were not organized enough to have a garage sale yet.  Zachary then asked if he could set up a lemonade stand, but Murray explained it was only 9 degrees outside and probably not many people would like lemonade.  Zachary then asks if he could have a candy sale.  "A candy sale?" Murray asks.  "yeah a candy sale, with all my treats from my treat bowl" Zachary replies.

"sure why not."

Zachary chose to use his kitchen from downstairs.  Printed his own sign (with a little help) and asked for a stool to sit at.  We also decided to bike around our neighbourhood to'advertise' the sale to a few of our neighbours.

P.S  He told all the neighbours that he was saving money for Paleontology School!  hahaha

In all he made about 7.00 dollars but we had to shut the sale down after an hour or so because he started to eat more than he was selling!

The added bonus:  We sold all of Zachary's leftover Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Easter candy...Yeah!
