Cameraless in Devon...

Some updates.

First the sad news.  Our beloved camera is broken and needs some fixing.  We have mailed it off to Calgary, hopefully they will be able to fix it and we will have it back in time for our trip. It is amazing how being cameraless for even the past week has effected my life.

Kelly's shower was on Sunday and it went really well.  Good job Susan and Gale.  I was so thankful that Sandra was able to come out and take some pictures (remember I am cameraless).  Thanks San you're the best!

We are now the proud owners of a new truck!  Murray and I went to pick it up tonight, it is so exciting!  Officially it is Murray's new truck (I got to help choose the colour though).  I like to think of it as his reward for always driving the 'not so nice car' for the past ten years we have been together.  Now he has the new vehicle.  You should have seen the smile on his face when he got in it to drive it home...but of course we have no camera!!

Landscaping is going well in the backyard.  We may have the gravel come this weekend.  Yet again no pictures to show you, but trust me we are making progress.

Enjoy the nice weather.  Happy Tuesday.

I almost forgot...

In all my complaining i forgot to tell everybody that I finally had my cast taken off on Friday.  Yeah!  My arm is skinny, weak, and pale but it is no longer broken so that's something.  Thanks to everyone who was praying for me.

Have a good day.

Too Busy!

The wheels have come off of the crazy train.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed these days.  The school year is coming to an end and things are at there busiest at work with report cards, open house and such.  I am working at the greenhouse more and more these days, its great I love it but it is peek season there too so it is crazy.  We want to finish our landscaping by June when we go away, so weekends and evenings when Murray and I are not working away from home we are working at home.  Add to that May is the month for birthdays and anniversaries and soccer season has started and well... like I said its a bit of a gong show here on the home front.  Luckily, there is an end in sight.  School will finish soon (21 schools days but who is counting), the greenhouse will finish the end of June and we will be on our way to Europe.  That is worth all the craziness now.

Thanks to Mitch and Kyle for coming out on Sunday to help move dirt in the backyard.  I know its not the best job in the world but Murray and I appreciated your help.

Happy Monday.

And then the sun came out...

After what has seemed like days and days of rain, the sun came out to visit yesterday.  Murray and I had a chance to start some of the landscaping we have planned for the backyard this year.  Here are the before pictures.

Look at me working away with my broken arm.  Maybe that is why it hasn't healed as fast I as have wanted it too?
I go for a doctor's appointment on Friday to see if I can get the cast off.  Wish me luck.
Happy Monday.
