Happy Father's Day!

My husband is an amazing Daddy!

Sometimes I wonder how I ever fell in love with Murray without ever knowing Murray as a daddy first.  The Murray I know now is so amazing with his son. My husband is patience, kind, loving, fun and creative as a daddy.  He works hard for his family and always makes us his first priority.  I knew in my heart he would be a good daddy when I married him but he has surpassed all my expectations.

Even though I won't be with my little family today to celebrate Father's Day I wanted to thank my husband for being exactly who he is.  Your son, (future baby) and I are so thankful to have you in our lives.

P.S Happy Father's Day to my Father-in-law as well, he obviously was a wonderful example as a Dad for my husband to be the type of Dad he is.  I am very thankful for that.

It's A Boy!

My nephew Benjamin Jacob arrived today at 3:02am.  He is a beautiful 8 lb 9 oz baby.

 

When I posted the last time we knew she was already in labor we just weren't sure exactly when the baby would come.

It was so amazing to be part of my sister's birthing experience, its something I will treasure always.  The last few days it seems we all have been running on adrenaline here and very little sleep.  I am hoping to catch up on a few Z's over the remainder of my trip, while helping this new little family get adjusted to their new life together.

Waiting for baby...

I should clarify... not our baby (although we are waiting for that as well) but my niece or nephew. Friday was my last day of school so yesterday I was able to get on a plane to spend some time with my sister as we wait for the baby to come.  Today is my sister's due date and we have spent the day relaxing and catching up.  Although there is no baby yet, there are signs that the baby will probably arrive soon.

I will keep you posted.

A Quick Post

I have a lot to share but I am so excited about the photo shoot we did yesterday with my extremely talented friend Sandra that I thought I would share a few photos off her site first.

Baby Update

I have had a few requests now for a baby update...so here it is.

Baby and I at 30 weeks.

At this stage our baby is approximately 3 pounds and growing every day.  All is well.

 

At the 28 week mark Zachary and I went to see my midwife for a check up.  At every appointment we get to hear the baby's heartbeat and we also listen to Zachary's baby (a.k.a his heartbeat).

I think he is going to be disappointed in a few weeks when he realizes he does not actually have a baby in his tummy.
