Around Our House

I haven't posted in a while, I have been busy getting ready to leave for Ontario to help my sister get married.  I am so excited! The weather over the past week has been so nice we have been out and about.  Here are a couple of random pictures from the past few weeks around our house.

Yes that's right... at 13 months Zachary has already had his first horse experience and it went really well.  We may have a little cowboy on our hands after all.  YeeHaw!

Bye-Bye Blue

I love our house, but from the day we moved in I have hated the cobalt blue countertop that surrounds our kitchen.  On Thursday I finally got to say good-bye to old blue.  Here are the before and after pictures.

Gardening Season is upon us....yeah!

It feels like I have been waiting way way too long but finally spring has sprung.

What is my favorite part of gardening?  The planning.  Weird I know, but I love designing the garden and planning what I am going to plant and where.  I also like watering late on a warm summer evening.  Can't wait!

This weekend our little family had a chance to get into our garden and get our hands dirty. We all enjoyed the sunshine and dirt very much.

"what's that?" says Zachary.

Here is to many more sunny days spent together in our garden.

13 Months

Zachary just started 'stepping' right around his first birthday and in less than 3 weeks he has gone from stepping to walking to running.  At 13 months he is a proficient walker and not much slows him down.

Words he is saying: Hat (ha), wow, ooooh, horse, up, down, eyes, woof, mama, dada, banana (nana) 

Things he is signing: Hot (blows), all done, more, please, duck, bird, fish, puppy, kitty, yes and no.

He is our little copycat and will basically mimic any action or sound we make.
